About the u3a Vall del Pop
The u3a Vall del Pop is based in the Jalon Valley in the Northern Costa Blanca area of Spain. u3a stands for the University of the Third Age and offers lifelong learning opportunities, new friendships, and personal development and enjoyment.
Why not share in it?
We were formed in September 2006 and now have around 450 members. In the u3a Vall del Pop as in other u3a groups, we draw upon the knowledge, experience and skills of our own members to organise and provide interest groups. We provide educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly environment and are run entirely by volunteers.
The u3a is about learning for pleasure. There is no examination and no qualifications to be gained; just the enjoyment of experiencing learning and leisure opportunities with like-minded people. Please see the list of groups and social activities on offer.
We have monthly General Meetings on the first Thursday of each month with interesting speakers and fun activities. Please see our Home page for details of the next meeting. All this for a yearly membership fee of only a few euros! (See Membership page for details.)
New members of all nationalities are always welcome. Our meetings are conducted in English.
